Lot Lizard
with Charioteer

“A visceral throbbing pile of emotion rearing its ugly head and rolling its side to reveal a soft underbelly of tone and harmonics that is reminiscent of an era where Bauhaus and Joy Division cassette tapes were considered currency. They write like they drank a cup of black coffee after taking an ambien at a Jesus Lizard show. They are both fight and flight. Depression and euphoria.” -Lord Bronc

Charioteer is a project founded by Alexander Koshak with Jake Brownell, Adam Hawkins, and Reggie Thompson. The band's latest album, "August", is out now!https://charioteer.bandcamp.com/

Wood & Wire with Shovelin Stone

As the name suggests, Wood & Wire is an acoustic band with a love for pure music played well on stringed instruments. In 2011, the group exploded onto Austin’s bluegrass and old-time-music scene while quickly gaining a national fan base through appearances at notable festivals like Old Settlers Music Festival, Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival, ACL Festival, Rockygrass, IBMA World of Bluegrass and Telluride Bluegrass Festival.

With roots embedded in the Colorado Rocky Mountains, and a sound unhinged in the capital of Texas, Shovelin Stone is a music almost as unique as the friendship it stems from. A shared passion for old-timey bluegrass is what brought Makenzie and Zak together, but it's the unknowing joy for the moment and the obsession with the complications that life brings that continues to push the duo forward. Within heartfelt lyrics and a unique musical composition the folk sound that projects from these two is not only going to get the audience thinking but on their feet. The road is winding but one thing is for sure that with these two at the wheel it's going to be a wild ride. https://www.shovelinstone.com/

Dear Rabbit with Tyto Alba

Hi! My name is Rence. These days I spend a great deal of time on the roads and in the skies. But when I get back home, I enjoy listening to old records and cassettes of great artists such as Guided By Voices, Harry Nilsson, Attic Abasement, XTC, Kate Bush, Prince, Sparklehorse, j. sherri, The Kinks, etc. In addition to their amazing songs, I’m inspired by friendships, communities, places, mountains, beers, coffees, and nice doggies across these lands. And YOU!

Tyto Alba "The Hunger" Tyto Alba, based out of Denver, CO, formed in the fall of 2014 and features the talents of singer/songwriter Melanie Steinway, guitarist Matt Rossi, bassist/synth player Daniel DiMarchi and drummer Andrew Bair. The songs are dreamy, spacious and lush. Tyto Alba is the scientific name for barn owls.

The Talbott Brothers
with Brianna Straut

The Talbott Brothers are a duo composed of brothers Nick and Tyler Talbott. Born and raised in Imperial, a small town in Southwestern Nebraska, they began writing and performing together before relocating to Portland, OR. Forming an alternative blend of Americana Rock, The Talbott Brothers creatively combine blood harmonies with storytelling and infectious melodies.

Americana singer-songwriter Brianna Straut conveys the human condition through empathetic storytelling.

Born and raised in Texas, Brianna sings from her roots, incorporating lamentations of lost love and soaring moments of hanging on to the good times into her bittersweet folk tunes. She’s been a member of Denver-based Americana outfits such as Bison Bone and Tomahawk Fox. More recently, Brianna has branched out on her own as a singer-songwriter with a voice that is as proud as the Rocky Mountains she now calls home.

Her latest release, La Mano is the first in a series of three albums inspired by the hands of her community. Marquee Magazine has described it as “... the hard, chapped and cracked withered hands of modern working-class Americana — coupled, of course, with Straut’s beautiful, soaring voice.”

Briffaut with Down Time, Pout House

Briffaut is Daniel James Eaton with the help of a revolving cast of talented and notable musicians that he has been honored to work with. Together they create sonic visions that hover in the spaces between classic templates such as Folk, Jazz, Blues and early Rock n’ Roll up to the more obscure Progressive Rock, KrautRock and Psych.

Down Time is an indie rock trio based in Denver, CO. https://www.downtimeforever.com/

Based in the Denver area and primarily influenced by 2000s indie rock, Pout House staggers along the line of garage pop with a punk flair. Pout House self-released The Nancy Demos in February 2018 immediately followed by a mid-west tour and later in the summer, a full west coast tour. More upcoming tour and music release plans are in the works. http://pouthouse.bandcamp.com

Laura Veirs with Changing Colors

Laura Veirs grew up in Colorado Springs, Colorado, where she often spent summers camping with her family, which gave her much of her songwriting inspiration. Veirs has said that she didn’t seriously listen to music until she was in her 20s; instead, she just heard what was in her environment. She listened to folk, country, classical and pop music around the house and on the radio during her youth.

Changing Colors sound mirrors its substance, layering cold, devastating lyrics over sparse instrumentation and a voice scrubbed raw and clean as a pinewood floor. https://thechangingcolors.bandcamp.com/

Heavy Diamond Ring
featuring members of Paper Bird with the Kinky Fingers

Twelve years after starting the indie-folk giants Paper Bird, Sarah Anderson (vocals, trumpet) and Paul DeHaven (guitar, vocals) embark on their latest collaboration, Heavy Diamond Ring. Drawing from ‘70s FM folk rock and their distinct brand of open-hearted songwriting, HDR harnesses their strong and proven partnership towards refreshing new heights.

“The Kinky Fingers might not reside anywhere near the coast, but their beachy album, Worst Of, leads us to believe otherwise. The Denver locals infuse numerous genres into their Tarantino inspired sound. Tayler Doyle, The Kinky Finger’s frontman, has a unique voice that lends to the group’s authenticity. The band’s ability to draw from multiple musical influences, including Cumbia and outlaw Country, while staying true to their roots keeps 'Worst Of' inspiringly raw."

The Peculiar Pretzelmen with
Had I Known

Black blooded sneaky so and so’s in pin stripe suits careening wildly through the shadows and gutters of neglected culture, the Peculiar Pretzelmen strum, slam, stomp, smack, smash, and scream the old and abandoned incantations raising the specters of all the spirits we left for dead. Pounding drums speaking in tongues, restlessly reinventing roadmaps until the riddles are all undone.

The Lollygags

While they certainly aren’t a tribute band, at their core the Lollygags are a tribute to a love for surreal and irreverent comedy, loud guitars, hilariously bad movies, bedroom rock-poster admiration, and the kind of pop culture ephemera that resonates between deep initiates of nerd lore. The band’s music is not derivative of any flavor of rock n roll except maybe to call it power pop infused with the spirit of punk rock.
